And another year goes by.

Hello! to anyone who actually comes across my website!

A year has gone by since my last post, and I have so much and so little to report at the same time.  I have spent most of my time learning to make websites and doing print design for a VERY small company in Kansas City MO.  I have learned a bit more about the industry and gotten as familiar as i'd like with the web design world.

New on the handcrafted graphic design front - i have joined a letterpress studio and made one commissioned piece, which will act as a catalyst to create more prints. (YAY) I hope to create a set of maxims and possibly have a show...big plans for an inexperienced 'gallery' artist. I'll be looking into coffee shops more than the respected galleries of kansas city.

Thats all for now. after a robbery to my apartment in august, my life was scattered for a while, and once i can get photos and such organized again, i'll try to be better about posting. ;)

to start

currently, i am travelling around the northeast, couch surfing and visiting dear friends from here and there. this has been a wonderful opportunity though to get some 'explorer' time to myself. i am viewing and visiting, and reflecting on the things i see that people are making and creating. i am learning more about MY art world, because THE art world is so huge that orientating yourself in it might be taking too much of your time...so here is a first entry related to the makers and creators that speak to me most.
